Project Overview
Ramon holds a special place in my journey as an entrepreneur. At the age of 18, I embarked on this endeavor, partnering with two colleagues to create our very first mobile game. Ramon isn't just any game; it's a platform that offers teenagers and young adults a safe space to discuss taboo topics prevalent in Argentinean society, all while engaging in a playful and interactive question-and-answer format.
My Role
Our initial research revealed that there were other games in the market attempting to address similar themes, but none of them managed to sustain long-term success. Digging deeper, we discovered a crucial insight—the language barrier. These existing apps were developed in other Latin American countries, where the use of Spanish varied significantly from the nuanced Argentinean slang and cultural context. This realization became the cornerstone of what Ramon was destined to become—a game created by Argentineans, for Argentineans.
The Argentinean Experience
Ramon became more than just a mobile game; it became a cultural touchstone. Developed with an intimate understanding of Argentinean slang and sensibilities, it struck a chord with users.
